Apple Music, App Store, iCloud, Apple.com, and Other Services Experiencing Issues

While not yet reflected on Apple's system status page, a number of Apple services are currently experiencing downtime or slow performance, including the App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, and the iTunes Store. Apple's website is also experiencing some issues, including its developer portal being unavailable right now.


The issues span multiple countries and extend to Apple's Mail and TV apps. We'll update this story as the situation unfolds.

Apple Music, App Store, and Mac App Store Suffering Limited Outages Following iOS 13 and macOS Catalina Betas

Apple Music, the App Store, and the Mac App Store are experiencing outages affecting "some users," according to Apple's system status page, one day after Apple seeded the first betas of iOS 13 and macOS Catalina to developers.


Apple says some users are "experiencing a problem" with each service. The company is investigating and will update the statuses of each service as more information becomes available. The issues began around 5 a.m. Pacific Time.

Apple Says Some iCloud Services Experiencing Slowness

Apple has updated its System Status page to reflect ongoing performance issues with a handful of iCloud services.

Apple says some users "may be experiencing slower than normal performance" when using the iCloud Drive, Notes, or Photos apps, while some users "may be experiencing a problem" with iCloud storage upgrades.

The issues began around 6 a.m. Pacific Time, according to Apple. We'll update this post once the issues have been resolved.

App Store, Apple Music, and iTunes Down for Some iOS 11 Users

We're seeing an increasing number of reports across Reddit and Twitter from iOS 11 users who have been unable to access Apple services such as the App Store, Apple Music, and iTunes since as early as Thursday morning.


Apple's system status page does not yet reflect any issues with any of its services beyond Group FaceTime being temporarily unavailable.

The underlying cause is unclear. We'll update if we learn more.

If you are attempting to get directions in Apple Maps right now, you might be unable to do so, as the service appears to be experiencing downtime.


The issue appears to be widespread, with users affected across the United States, Canada, and elsewhere.
